after such a lazy weekend for me, it's back to the grind.

but first, a short recap: friday, joks and the boss arrive from thailand thus ending a week of lounging around.

on saturday, while most of the filipino population came out in droves to the various cemeteries and beach resorts all over the country, i sat in a booth at dencio's in rockwell and stuffed myself full of tuna sisig and lechon kawali. afterwards, we went to starbucks because the smell of sisig was driving me nuts and i couldn't possibly take any more pork in my system at that time. had almond sansrival, the overpriced ensaymada, and chocolate cake which the boss, smaller boss (who from now on we shall call SB) and i shared. plus, i had water. para bawas guilt.

on sunday, joks and i went on the great divisoria-quiapo adventure. cool kasi wala masyadong tao sa divisoria because aside from being a sunday, it was also a holiday of sorts. we got what we came for and we were able to save on transpo kasi we took jeepneys instead of the overpriced fx. biruin mo, from pasig to quiapo it's php20, pero pag pabalik ng pasig php30 na! highway robbery. we risked our lungs and took the jeep (php13.50).

debbie and i were supposed to go today but i couldn't possibly because of the boss.

last night, he asked me if i could write the continuity spiels for next week's episode before we could even shoot the main segment for that episode. great. and so i summoned my superhuman powers and did it in an hour. hmmm, those writing contests from high school sure are good training.

he called a while ago and indirectly said i am wonderful. hindi, joke lang. he wouldn't say, directly or indirectly how brilliant i am. baka daw lumaki ang ulo ko. hnh!
